Happy Easter

Going to church for the 1st time in years this morning then after that out to brunch with the wife's parents. After that over to my parents house for awhile so somewhat busy day ahead. Weather is supposed to be beautiful so should be great.

To all happy Easter and if you don't go to church today please take a moment and think about what this day means. It's more than just cute bunnies.

The real history of Israel

Good historical piece from a guy I think should run for president Larry Elder. It's a brief history of the land that Israel and Palestinians now live on and who really has 'dibs' on it and guess what, it's not Muslims. If we had proper schools in Amerika then most everyone would know this already but anyway, that's another subject altogether.

Israel lies in the ancient Fertile Crescent's southwest corner, with some of the oldest archeological evidence of primitive towns and agriculture. Historians and archeologists believe the Hebrews probably arrived in the area in the second millennium B.C. The nation itself was formed as the Israelites left Egypt during the Exodus, believed to be in the late 13th century B.C.

The 12 tribes of Israel united in about 1050 B.C., forming the Kingdom of Israel. David, the second king of Israel, established Jerusalem as Israel's national capital 3,000 years ago. Jewish kingdoms and states existed intermittently in the region for a millennium.

Muslims & Christians

We in the US are pummeled with the PC meme to always be tolerant of other religions especially Islam. Overlook and ignore everything they do or say because you know most of them don't think that way. Ok great, is that true? Yeah, I think it probably is. Most Muslims are most likely peaceful people just like most of us Christians which is great but think about this. Let's for the sake of assuming that 5% of the Muslim population is hostile towards and wants to kill anyone who doesn't think like them. Well the current worldwide population of Muslims is 1.1 billion so that would mean that a whole lot of Muslims are potential terrorists. Is it any wonder we look at them all with a distrustful eye.

Anyway, kind of got of topic a bit from what I was originally posting about. I think Muslims are treated pretty well in the US. Not perfect but not bad considering followers of their religion have killed thousands of our people over the years. Take a look at this to see how Christians are treated in Muslim countries. Could you imagine the hand wringing caterwauling that would ensue from the UN loving surrender at any cost crowd if any of those things were going on here? THINK ABOUT IT.....
